We believe that thriving kids and families lie at the heart of healthy, connected communities. Kids have incredible perspective and wisdom to contribute. Unfortunately, kids and families with low-incomes often have less access to opportunities that build the skills and networks they need to lead their fullest lives.
By partnering with low-income kids, parents/guardians and volunteer mentors, Family of Friends supports mentoring relationships outside of school, that help kids build social and emotional skills and relationships through play. Our ultimate goal is to decrease the gap in outcomes for low-income kids and families.
